Location
The Hajime is located near Phanrawi 1 Village, east of the banks of the Chao Phraya River, in Monopoly Park. Not very easy to reach, the nearest BTS (Surasak) or MRT (Khlong Toei) station are about 4km away. At least from there you should take a taxi.
Ambiance
Modern, trendy, crazy, digital ... The Hajime is a Yakiniku restaurant, meaning the tables are equipped with a grill in the middle of the table, where you can prepare the raw ingredients according to the barbecue principle. This is a barbecue of the finest. The special feature of the restaurant is that the food is served to guests automatically. With a touch screen you make your selection and submit your order, then everything is delivered by a samurai like robed robot. This form of entertainment may not be for everyone, but a guaranteed eye-catcher and certainly a lot of fun, especially for children who want to be entertained.

The offer of food is varied. Fish, seafood, meat, vegetables, soups.
Service
The service works smoothly and is efficient by serving the two robots. However, the restaurant is not completely automated, the preparation of the food still takes care of human staff, which is attentive and friendly.
The restaurant is located on the main traffic road, Industrial Ring Road, which leads to Bhumibol 1 Bridge in Samut Prakan. Too bad that the restaurant is so far away, closer to the city center would have certainly more visitors. During our visit at lunchtime nothing was going on, we were the only guests. But well, maybe the core target group comes at other times, we were there about 30 minutes after opening, most of the guests are likely to come in the afternoon or in the evening.
Since the restaurant had just opened and no guests were there, the order was also different than hoped. The touchscreen monitors were switched off and conventional menus were available to choose from. The selection is very extensive, as one can use the barbecue on the table on the one hand, on the other hand sushi lovers will get their money's worth.
Before you know it, comes shortly after the order even the robot with the food. When choosing meat for the barbecue you can draw on the full, there are many different types of meat. When ordering you cross on a piece of paper what you want to have, it could not be easier. When grilling you have to be careful, some may know this already from experience: the meat is cut relatively thin and can be very fast grilled. If you are not careful, the meat burns on the grill. So rather start with a little less and slowly rantasten, the grill pot has plenty of power!
In addition to the possible dishes of the menu, there is also a buffet, but so we had during our visit not so busy. What it definitely was, was an all-you-can-drink offer. Refilling the drinks such as coke or Sprite was possible several times. To make sure that drinks with refills is included in the price, but you should ask when ordering!
The price was extrapolated unbeatable, we had 2 persons just under 1400 Baht paid. Converted about 18€ / 21$ per person may sound like a lot, but the food was extensive, the food was delicious, and the refilling of the drinks alone in conventional restaurants in the home the price in the height increased.
